ビットメイン（Bitmain）がマイニングに利用する新しいナノチップを発表

仮想通貨マイニング最大手のBitmainがBTCやBCHなどのマイニングのパフォーマンスや電力効率を向上するチップを発表した。

新型のＢＭ１３９７チップは、30J/THという低いエネルギー消費量で提供され、今までの7nm（BM１３９１）と比較して28.6%も電力の消費を抑えることが可能になった。

これを実現させたのが、ビットメインのエンジニアチームであり、彼らはアーキテクチャ、回路、経済性を最適化するための設計を行った。

このチップは、後日Bitmainから発表されるS17とT17に搭載される予定である。

マイニング技術の進歩は、仮想通貨の発展に大きくつながることであり、マイニング大手のビットメインから新型のチップ発表が行われたことによって、業界に新しい動きがでてきそうだ。
